ML Underwood been on the scene of Hiphop now as a artist and CEO of MyLife Entertainment for years.
After being release from federal prison you decided to invest in your music career instead of investing in others. Why the change?
I decided to invest in myself because the guys I was incarcerated with kept telling me how talented I was as a speaker and that instead of investing in other artist that I should put myself on The map first, pave the way then groom a younger artist after achieving success myself.
When did you know that it was actually going to be your career?
After creating the song “Crazy Love” with Willie Taylor and getting 25k streams a day after the release that gave me the juice to go harder in this game.
You’ve worked with plenty of artist, If you could get advice from any artist in the industry, who would it be and why?
I would think Snoop Dogg would be able to give me good advice because he found a way to get all nationalities to embrace his music and at the same time staying true to himself.
What or who influences your music?
My music is influenced by my life I lived. I’ve done so much and been all over the world that I can never run out of things to say in my music. I got a lot of izzum and game to give to whoever willing to listen.
Has anyone helped you or guided you in getting your foot in the industry?
My help comes from my team Slavic Livins my engineer and my producer MC V who produced Megan Thee Stallion first 2 albums “Make it Hot” and “Tina Snow” my other producer Mike Flexx who produced 2 of my biggest hits “Crazy Love“ and “Show Me” and last but not least my co writer who Is the greatest underground rapper alive Young Khan Da Don(Damon Jones)
How many projects have you released?
I have released a total of 7 projects and on July 31st my new single “I’M THE LIGHT” will be available on all platforms through Empire. This joint and the video will go down in Hiphop history using Miki Howard sample “Share My Love” listeners will vibe because it relates to anyone who shines!!
What differentiates you from other artist?
The difference from me and other artist is my experience. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

What do you hope to get out of your involvement in the music industry?
My plan is to make my mark in Hiphop history. I been in this Game for a very long time and it’s my time to be mentioned next to the names of Diddy / Jay Z or Master P creating a way for Gary Indiana and Midwest Artist to be heard on a global platform without having to move.
